The only thing that is constant is change...right?

So in the last year Alice in Smack really has started playing out..and sounding good with Ramsay and Steve...now we just need a permanent bass player...auditions coming in the next month...contact me if you are interested. To be honest I haven't been this happy in L.A. in a long time! Things are going well with a new job in a great new company (still an Avid Technician of course) and things are getting better and better musically. I've been playing acoustic guitar a lot and wrote a couple of songs you'll hear in the very near future.

Hawaii is still by definite future. But if it takes a few years to do it right so be it. My attitude is much better thanx to ME (making the decision), my friends and family for being there, and amazing teachers like Serge Kahili King and Dr. Wayne Dyer. I'm lovin life out here in Southern California with all of my AWESOME friends, MY BANDS, and my friends bands.

I am going to start shooting and then of course editing (and producing) a documentary on Hawaiian Spirituality, Huna, and Kahunas. If all goes as it seems in my head I'll have a DVD of it in a year or a little bit more.

I'm also doing some writing, maybe for my own CD at the same time checking out some original bands. Cowbouys From Hell - The Pantera Tribute is going through some changes. I'll announce it when we're ready to return to the stage.

Alice in Smack - July 30 11:30PM - Paladino's
Cowboys From Hell - Aug 19 12:00 Midnight - Paladino's

Back to the LA lifestyle. All singing, working & some partyin' of course. . Been workin my ass off at my tech support job (Film,TV) and TRYING to get my whole Pro-Tools system together. I have SO MANY song ideas. I'm planning on doing a solo CD unless THE RIGHT band comes along, otherwise expect that within a year.

I have my 2 kick ass bands to keep me busy. Alice in Smack (Alice in Chains/Godsmack cover/tribute band) with Steve (from Jackass Daniels and Shut Up Marie), newcomer to L.A. bassist Rikki, and...drumroll please, RAMSAY on Drums (Cut Throat). http://www.blackmagicent.com/AliceInSmack/index.htm

Cowboys From Hell (Pantera Tribute) is back with all original memebers (www.tributefromhell.com) for another performance in August.

I'll be modeling for a photoshoot for Angel Wing Photography in a couple of weeks- check out Brenda's site (she is kicking ass) www.angelwingphotography.com - and then check back in 3 weeks and see how MY photo shoot went.

Guess who is back in L.A.? Well if ya didn't know I left, a few months in Hawaii, a few weeks in Tennessee, a few days in Florida
and I'm STILL a Southern California Resident. Well I still have my Califonia Driver's Licence. So I actually found a band in Hawaii of Bad Ass musicians. Me n my guitar player Clint wrote a few good songs and we played covers. Jason/ Iokona is a kick ass bassist and Tony, the second one top notch drummer - welcome back from IRAQ. Oh yea can you believe I was rehearsing on an Army Base? Schofield Army Barracks - I even got to write some songs that I think were pretty bad ass with Shane in Tennessee (well technically we jammed in Mississippi) Maybe someday someway they'll get finished...
Now I'm back to the grind, land of "who you are" where I am a Big Fish in an ocean of sharks. Not really it just flowed pretty well. Back where I have the best friends in the whole world. So we'll see where L.A. takes me A-HEM, where I take L.A. - - without getting too deep in to it a big THANK YOU to my friends and family who helped me weather my storms. See THIS is why I say your friends and family are the most important things in your life. Well that and music. Hawaii SOMEday. for now. L.A. BRING IT ON! Oh and thank you to Monique who designed this new page for me. My creativity is obviously not in web design and yours is! Last Saturday we did a performance of Cowboys From Hell (our Pantera Tribute) - show kicked ass and that was the biggest crowd we had yet! Unforunately we all lost maybe the greatest guitar player of all times DIMEBAG DARRELL. There will never be anyone like that again. Before I get lost in that.. A big ALOHA and C-YA all Saturday at NAMM!

Things have REALLY changed since I last did an entry here. This year so much has happened already. We continued to write for Wild Girls Fight Club until if I remember correctly about early February. We were moving faster then the production so we stopped writing for them, but then kept writing and recording. "The Same" is our latest song, and we did a re-make of Alanis Morisette's "You Oughta Know" - just a whole lot darker, a little heavier and more modern sounding. At least that's what I think! We have an industry rep shopping us so we'll see if and what comes out of that! The music video for "Fight (In The Club)" is out on the Wild Girls Fight Club DVD series #1 - so check it out if you can.

Even more change!! I decided to move to Hawaii so I have to let go of my Pantera tribute band "Cowboys From Hell" which is just a fuckin blast to perform with. Steve, Elaina, and John are all just amazing musicians and really down to earth good people. They will be going on with their original project "Tripwire" - If anything does happen to keep me in L.A. longer then we will continue to perform and book some more shows. Of course Diss Function will be waiting too, which really is just myself and my writing/recording partner Steve Braverman. As usual life is crazy, I'll be off to Hawaii in mid May, unless something huge happens with Diss Function. Of course I had to leave Jackass Daniels and Alice in Smack too.

The latest songs are on my songs page "The Same", "You Oughta Know", "Theft of Imagination" and more... Feel free to post any comments on my message board, let me know what you think and of course feel free to speak your mind there!

Happy New Year! OK - I've been planning on starting this for a while - then I get busy, lazy, whatever and never start it. So here goes:

2003 Started with me and Jeff forming Jackass Daniels - in case you haven't seen us yet we cover mostly Nu Rock stuff and then throw in some hard rock/ Metal "Standards." During the Summer JAD Drummer Eddie suggested we form a PANTERA tribute band. Like I was going to say no. After all those years of bashing Tribute bands here I am forming one. But hey, IT'S PANTERA!! Now I am discovering how incredible it is to GET PAID to do what you love. After kicking around a few names we just went with the obvious, Cowboys From Hell. So what's next? Since you asked...DISS FUNCTION.

One of my best friends Oliver was editing this new girls boxing dvd series - with a lot of nudity too - called Wild Girls Fight Club - They hired some old pro from the 80's to write them a theme song, and to be kind let's say they wanted to give someone else a try - So he came to me - so along with Jeff and Steve we wrote the theme song called "Fight (in the Club)" - they hired me n Steve to stay on and continue to write more for them, the two of us without full time jobs! The first 2 songs are in my songs page.

As always feel free to promote your band, website, or whatever on my Message Board. For better and for worse I'm sure it will be an Exciting Year.
